The Seeding Shed Series was shot at Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm, north of Broome in the remote north of Western Australia. I sometimes have to remind myself just how lucky I am that I get to witness places like this. It’s something a lot of people in the world could never imagine. The pearling industry…
Photographing Jess and Tim’s pregnancy session in Lauderdale, just south of Hobart, Tasmania was so delightful. They are beautiful souls and I knew they would make the greatest parents. And they have! Gorgeous little Denny came along less than a week after this shoot. Jess was so amazing, we walked the beach up and back…
I NEED YOUR HELP please… I have embarked on an amazing project. Part documentary. Part art. Part me. Part you. Part sun. Part dirt. Part ocean. What I need from you, my talented friends, musos, photographers, creatives, Broome folk, Aus folk and beyond is a song/music to put to my footage and still images. All…
The Great Moscow Circus appeared on Male Oval, Broome in all it’s loud glory. I photographed the edges of the story, often they are the most interesting parts. I love being able to tell a story through a documentary photography series. This series is all mobile photography, captured and edited on my phone. Thank you…
Beautiful, Emotional, Thought Provoking
Thanks Cass
Beautiful Cass. What a nice reminder of all our old folk who we have so much to thank for! x
Wonderful photos Cassie and fantastic to read your thoughts and memories of your grandfather. The first photo you took reminds me of the strong Sullivan family resemblance between Uncle Joe, Uncle Basil and their father in that photo.
My memory of my Grandpa, Uncle Joe and Uncle Gus is their great sense of humor, the jokes, magic tricks, card games or sport they used to amuse us kids with in the 1950’s and the competition that resulted.

Cassie, beautiful! I loved the little stories you shared and the glimpse into who your Poppy is. 🙂
Cassie I have just realised from reading further on facebook that this was an old post. Sending you much love.
