Part 1 of headshots for the lovely Julia, shot on polaroid film in Melbourne.

When Julia got in touch with me to take some headshots for her, I was honoured. She is my dear friend and a fellow incredible photographer, I guess it made sense, but it was an honour all the same. I’ve been playing around with polaroids so we decided to bring my arty style to meet the traditional headshot.

I tried to capture her humanity, her great big heart, her understanding and her passion for people. I wanted people to get that when they looked at these beautiful, imperfect polaroids. To get her. She wears all her heart on her sleeve, this one, and I am thankful to have her in my life.
