Bruny Island Wedding // Shalissa & Josh

I feel so lucky to get to photograph in magical places like this Bruny Island wedding. Bruny has a pretty special place in my heart, there’s just something magical about the land and the buzz you get from being a part of it. It’s known for its incredible cheese and wild outlooks, its history and its surf breaks, that last one is the main reason that brings Shalissa and Josh here every other holiday.

Moody clouds and ferocious winds could not keep us from having the most fun Bruny Island wedding. Well, everyone knows I love moody weather and the wind made everything a little more entertaining. Shalissa and Josh leant in hard to beat the chill and we hid in the forest for a little while for shelter. So really, the weather was just helping us get all romantic.

The guys at Cloudy Bay Villa are incredible, they have such a love for this little island and conserving it’s beauty and habitat for all the right reasons.
