MONA Wedding | Sal + Lane | Hobart Tasmania
When Jarrad Seng asked me to photograph this MONA wedding with him I was super excited. Jarrad and I shoot so well together and it’s always an adventure, this time we were in my hometown of Hobart. Sal (with the biggest smile I’ve ever seen) wed the handsome Lane at MONA in a fiesta of colour and fun. The following day we explored the rain forests, spotted a platypus in a waterfall and walked barefoot on mossy rocks.
Sally and Lane travelled down from Melbourne and all their friends came to celebrate from far and wide. I’m so proud of my little island home and all the great press it’s been getting lately. If you’ve ever thought about coming to Tassie, start planning and hit me up on social media for tips on where to eat, what to see, best time of year, festivals etc. If you’re planning a destination wedding like these guys, I say “Go for it!”. There is so much beauty to see and mountains to climb, incredible cheese to eat and oysters too! Did I mention we have some of the world’s finest whisky?
Enjoy this beauty of a wedding, featuring fun, colour, style, Hobart, MONA, rainforest, and waterfall. Ah Tasmania, you’re an amazing place to get married in.
Thanks to Jarrad for always bringing the fun and having me along to shoot for you, looking forward to next time.
